Summary

Solo and bot matches work without an AstraCubes account. Game Center is used for online identity, matchmaking, friends, and competitive ranking. The developer does not receive your Apple Account password.

Information used

Game Center and online play

When you use online features, AstraCubes may process your Game Center player identifier, Game Center display name, online match participants, match result, placement, score, competitive rating, leaderboard position, and the technical state needed to complete a real-time match.

Apple separately controls Game Center account information and processes it under Apple’s privacy policy and terms.

Information stored on your device

The game stores preferences such as language, sound, music, haptics, control method, controller mappings, gameplay settings, Premium emblem choice, and local statistics.

Technical communications

Network requests necessarily use ordinary connection information such as IP address, time, and transport metadata. Online matches use Apple’s Game Center transport. Each ranked participant submits their own rating to Apple after agreeing on the result. There is no developer game server.

Why information is used

• Run Game Center authentication, matchmaking, and real-time online matches.
• Calculate fair online match results and competitive rating.
• Show friends and global leaderboard positions.
• Prevent duplicate, forged, or conflicting rating submissions.
• Remember local settings, controls, statistics, and Premium status.
• Diagnose a problem when a player asks for support.

Solo scores and bot-match scores do not affect the competitive online ranking.

Services and sharing

AstraCubes uses Apple Game Center and StoreKit. Online rating information is exchanged with match participants and stored by Apple Game Center. It is not sold to data brokers.

Other players can see the Game Center display information, match state, placement, score, rating, and leaderboard position needed for the multiplayer and ranking features.

Storage, security, and retention

Local preferences and statistics remain on the device until changed, reset, or removed with the app, subject to Apple device backup behavior. Apple determines how long its Game Center and purchase records are retained.

Apple stores Game Center and purchase records under its own policies. AstraCubes has no separate rating database or game-server logs. Real-time communication uses Apple-provided Game Center transport, and authenticated GameKit requests submit rankings.

Premium and tracking

Apple processes Premium and ship payments through StoreKit. The app reads verified entitlements, subscription expiry and refund information. Payment details are handled by Apple; there is no developer purchase database.

Free access includes unlimited solo, one Easy bot and private unranked Premium invitations. Premium unlocks all bots, public matchmaking, optional ranked play and invitations to free friends. It is available yearly with an Apple introductory seven-day trial for eligible accounts, or as a permanent purchase. Annual access renews automatically until cancelled with Apple. Ships are separate cosmetic purchases; no purchase improves gameplay performance.

AstraCubes contains no advertising, advertising SDK, IDFA access, or cross-app tracking.

Your choices and rights

You can play solo or against bots without entering an online match. You can manage Game Center through Apple settings, restore Premium from the crown screen, change local preferences in the game, or delete the app to remove its local data.

Manage or cancel annual subscriptions with Apple. Restore purchases from the Premium screen. Apple-controlled Game Center and purchase records are managed through Apple; there is no in-app custom-server data deletion flow.

Children

AstraCubes is a general-audience puzzle game and is not offered in the App Store Kids Category. It does not knowingly collect contact information from children. Game Center availability and multiplayer restrictions are controlled by Apple Account, parental-control, and Game Center settings.

Changes to this policy

This page will show an updated effective date when the game’s data practices materially change. Important changes will be reflected before the affected app version is released.
